Három blokkból áll. Elsőként a modern esztétikai gondolkodás eredetét vizsgáljuk a 17. és 18. századi francia és brit ízlés- és művészetelméletekben, ideértve filozófiai és társadalmi hátterét, valamint megjelenését az egyes művészeti ágakban. A második terület a 18. és a korai század német művészetfilozófiája, különös tekintettel arra, hogyan fogja föl az esztétikai reprezentációt Winckelmann, Kant, Schiller, Schlegel, Novalis, Schelling és Hegel. Harmadszor az esztétikai reprezentáció 20. századi elméletével és gyakorlatával foglalkozunk, ezen belül a következő fő témakörökre összpontosítva: a reprezentáció problémája a fenomenológiában és az analitikus filozófiában, a narratív megjelenítés etikai aspektusai és az úgynevezett filozófiai regényre. Eredményei, a résztvevők által készített tanulmányok és fordítások – amelyeket a Laokoón című online folyóiratban teszünk közzé – értékes hozzájárulást jelenthetnek az egyetemi oktatás fejlesztéséhez. |

It consists of three blocks. First, we investigate the origins of modern aesthetic thinking in the French and British theories of art and taste of the 17th and 18th centuries, including its philosophical and social background as well as its appearance in the various branches of art. The second area of the research is the German philosophy of art in the 18th and the early 19th century, with special regard to the conceptions of aesthetic representation in the works of Winckelmann, Kant, Schiller, Schlegel, Novalis, Schelling and Hegel. Thirdly, we deal with the theory and practice of aesthetic representation in the 20th century, focusing on the following main topics: the problem of representation in phenomenology and analytical philosophy, the ethical aspects of narrative representation, and the so-called philosophical novel. The results of the project, the studies and translations produced by the members of the team – to be published in the online journal Laocöon – can provide a valuable contribution to the development of university education. |
